Poetry
I hear you and listen to your heart
And in turn, my own is fully unlocked.
Teeth gritted,
I force back tears while on the bus.
I weep not due to what you say or your intent.
Instead,
I am touched by that which lies between the lines.
Stuck by a universal wordless message:
‘I am you and you, therefore, am I’
So human!
And yet not.
Something more.
And so I remain here with smiling tears,
On the one three five into town.
